Thanks to everyone who took part in last nights Beckenham Team Relay with our largest ever field of 162 teams from 17 clubs and 2 unattached teams that all finished the race.
We introduced batons this year with the timing chips inside rather than on each runner; unfortunately the weather was against us and some of the chips unstuck themselves from within the baton and fell out – this has been noted by the timing company and they will endeavour to correct this. This did not effect the prizes as the winning teams batons still had their timing chips and we also had a backup process.
