Despite the 2nd Grand Prix the Sidcup 10, now being only one week away, a few hardy soles braved the winds that battered Britain and took part in some of the various races that were on offer.
Well done to Mel who went back to her Essex routes to take part in the Great Bentley Half Marathon yesterday and ran 1:30:37 which was a great time in windy conditions. Mel submitted the following race report…
‘WINDY (the kind that’s more in your face/side-on than pushing you along) but I loved it – fast flat course.’

There was also Jim and Simon H at Pirie 10, & Helen at the Ashford and District 10k.
And don’t forget the parkruns, on that note, I won the Gorleston parkrun in 17:43 🙂
